A new car is being added to Stars in Motorcars at MGM featuring Chicken Little

Are you sure about that. I saw Chicken Little on Hollywood Blvd about a month ago. Maybe it was just a test or a photo shoot.

Yup. One of my CM friends filled me that night when he got home from work.
He said it was the official launch of Chicken Little as a park character or something like that.

Chicken Little and Abby Mallard are going to be the grand marshalls of the parade for quite some time. Guests are no longer going to be the grand marshall. There will be dancers in chicken costumes holding pieces of the sky dancing around his car. The piece looks like the one that fell from the sky in the movie preview. This is all straight from one of the dancers mouth that I talked to last week.

I saw DSMC this afternoon just to see what they did with Chix Little. He is the new grand marshall (stupid) and before his car are 2 male paparazzi taking his pictures. Following his car are 6 females wearing yellow feathers and shirts and pants similar to his and each is holding up an octagonal piece of the sky. Abby Mallard (aka the Ugly Duckling....and she IS ugly) is with them.

Abby and Chix are doing Meet and Greets where Mr. and Mrs. Incredible used to be at the end of the Animation tour.

A family is still chosen, just they are not in the parade anymore, they just get a VIP treatment during the show.

We were told yesterday (Sunday) that that was his debut as we got his autograph and pictures, so I imagine that it was also his debut in the parade as well, on Sunday.

Glad they got rid of the grand marshalls, although it's real special for them, who else cares? We are there to see the stars, and to waste a parade "spot" on nobody is rediculous. What if they did that for all the attractions?
This is the big problem with the (far less popular) Animal Kingdom parade, SEVERAL of the floats are devoted to (unnamed, I believe) strangers???
Where is Tarzan and Jane (should be in one float)???
Or Pumba (who could be "mounted" in another...while Timon walks the parade route)
Or Simba
Or Lucky
Or Pocahantas and a small animatronics Flik (and Meeko)

There's a parade at Disney Studios???? So that is where all those people go whilst I do more important things........... J/J I knew there was one. Chicken Little has been around since late May for Meet-n-greets.

This is the big problem with the (far less popular) Animal Kingdom parade,

Didnt i read somwhere on this site recently that the AK parade was rated one of the most popular in Disney surveys???

Yeah, my favorite daytime parade is the one at the Animal Kingdom. The costumes and floats are just too cool. For an adult whose seen a ton of parades, they all start to look the same, but not that one. The no-name VIP families really seem to enjoy being a part of it - especially the kids.
