Chicken in 3D?

Jim Hill posted something about Chicken Little being released in this new 3D technology up there in the US. Man, is that gonna be great or what? I heard this is kinda like the park attractions' 3D and not that regular blue-and-red 3D that we're used to in movies. Hopefully they'll get that ball moving worldwide soon.

From what I understand, this is the same technology they showed to all the theater owners back a couple months ago when they showed (among other things) part of Lilo and Stitch rerendered in this 3D technology and it was supposed to be absolutely amazing. I don't think it's 3D in the way we're used to it with some things pointing out at us to make us laugh or scream, but it seems like this 3D makes everything onscreen have depth and appear to really be there.

I'm excited, now I just have to find a digital theater that I can see it at!
