Chess Sets

My husband is wanting to buy a chess set while down at Disney. I had read that Epcot had them in the Great Britian section?? Does anyone have any idea? and if so what is the cost??

I believe they used to have them for sale in the shop inside of Cinderella's Castle. I don't know if they still do. I don't recall the prices. I believe they were not cheap but I am not sure how they compared to a really nice chess set bought outside of WDW.

I also recall seeing them at EPCOT in the UK.

Wow...a chess set will probably cost an arm and a leg in WDW. You might want to think about it before you buy it. Also, I don't know if the chess sets in the UK are Disney related (if that is what you are looking for). And if it isn't what you are looking for, then you might be better off getting it outside WDW.

My cousin got one about a year ago in the at epcot and they do cost an arm and a leg

You can get some really cool stuff in wdw but you would save a lot of money if you spent a few minutes looking round on the internet. Theres not much you can buy in the parks that you wont find somewhere on the 'net. Chess sets should be easy enough to find. Of course it is always nice to have something you know you bought in wdw, it makes a nice souvenir.
