We went to the restaurant today for lunch, for the first time in a few months, and were completely caught off guard in a non-good way by the change in the menu. No longer does Chefs have what I would call a lunch menu - it appears to be an all day menu, with selections seemingly geared towards dinner. No longer do they have the Quiche, nor the Croque Monsoir, or anything else that resembles a sandwich, but instead you are looking at full-blown entrees. The fixed price menu is now approximately $40. When we mentioned our surprise to the server, she told us that the menu was changed about a month ago, and that the items we described were instead moved to the fast serve restaurant at the back of the land. Considering that they no longer serve our choices, and do charge a lot more than we want to pay for lunch, we probably have had our last meal at Chefs de France.
