Chef Mickey's - Best time

Hi all

I've been to Disney years ago but I'm not overly familiar with booking restaurants and character experiences.

Can anyone advise the best times to book breakfast at Mickeys? I'm a bit behind with scheduling as we have only just booked to go and we go at the end of April.

The only times I'm being offered are 7:30ish or 10:30ish. Will I definitely see the characters at these times?

Apologies, one other thing, if we sat down for a 10:40 slot, would we be expected to be getting up at 11:30 at the end of breakfast? We dont want to be rushing so maybe the 7:35 slot is better. Thanks.

No, you will not be rushed. Take as long as you like.

We have done Chef Mickey's on numerous occasions. Usually for an arrival dinner, but we did a breakfast a few years ago. We would think you would want the earlier slot to take up less of the park time you might otherwise forego with the later slot. Also, early morning still might be slightly cooler that later in the mid/late morning if you walk to MK after brkfst.

It's a must-do breakfast for us for the past 12 trips/11 years. We usually grab the first reservation we can. We've seen the line to check in and the line to take your photo stretch way back into The Contemporary for later reservations. We've seen the same thing happen for dinner time.
You'll have a lot of fun with the characters at any time there. We just prefer getting there and not waiting so we could enjoy as much park time as possible.
