so me and my better half have booked an ADR for Chef Mickeys the first morning we arrive in the bubble. So having never dined there before we are unsure at what to expect.
Question is- will it suitable for a young couple to go for breakfast as a bit of fun to meet the Disney Characters or will we stand out like a saw thumb and look a bit silly without having any children with us?

Well I don't know about a saw thumb....That sounds painful..A sore thumb no..They'll be plenty of folk older than yourself having a magical time..enjoy..

I wouldn't let it bother you. DW and i have done CRT and the Norway princess breakfast just the two of us.It's no different to meeting characters as adults.No one thinks its strange at all

DW and I have done 90% of our trips alone, and we go to the character breakfasts all the time, you won't even get a second look, and I doubt you will be the only couple there, so go and enjoy the waffles!

My DW and DS (both adults) go to WDW every year with me. We hit Character Breakfasts, Dinner, etc. all the time. Never have a problem -- the characters are enjoyable no matter what. They come along and visit the table and it just brings back the youth we are always trying resurrect, After all - is this not why Walt invented the theme parks we so enjoy?

You will have a great time. My husband and I participated along with the kids. Our only disappointment was the food. We wouldn't go back because the food options, I have found that we are really not buffet people.

Why not? Go and enjoy, take pictures with the characters, watch the monrail go by over head and have a great time.

No one will even notice they will be so caught up in thier own magic - watching the kids see Mickey, Minnie and the gang....eating all the breakfast options.... There are always different configurations at the various restaurants - Mom alone with kids, Dad alone with kids, Mom and Dad alone, Grandparents.... not only will you blend, you will have a great time!

Not silly at all! Chef Mickey's is que quintessential Disney dining experience in my opinion and it doesn't matter how old you are, you're gonna have a great time.
