Checking Out of Resort Question

I know that you can check in early at Disney Resorts and just leave your bags with bell services.

But can you also do the reverse? We have a late flight home (9:30pm) and want to be able to spend the day in the parks. Are we able to check out and still leave our bags with bell services?

Yep, but if you are using the Magical Express, make sure you leave yourself enough time to collect your bags and catch the bus. It took us about 15 - 20 minutes to get our bags last year due to people in front of us and there only being one CM to help everyone.

We've done both, left them before we checked in as well as when we checked out.

We do this every trip on our departure date. We've never had a flight home before 5:00 p.m. But as djpoore94 mentioned be sure to leave enough time to get your luggage before you have to catch ME bus.

In addition to what others have said, if you are leaving behind a laptop (or for that mattter something else valuable) make sure you let them know.

They will put it in the "cage" which is an additionaly locked secure area in the luggage storage area.

Same thing happened to us -- leave yourself enough time.
