Check Your Airline Seats!

We decided to use the offairportcheckin facility at the lake buena vista outlet mall and we when they printed our boarding passes we found out the seats we had reserved six months ago were gone. The ticket agent Nancy was nice enough to call and get the family seats together and she said it was a very common problem with all airlines. Her advice was to make sure you reconfim your seats at least 48 hours before your departure so beware and check your airline seats!

This happens often with airlines when they change flights around. I recommend having your tickets tied to your E-mail account so that they can update you if there is a change and you can make sure your seats are reassigned. This problem happened many time with us with Delta Airlines. I remember one year they changed at least 3 times between when we booked and when the flight actually departed. I still would go on the airlines site once a month and type in you confirmation number and verify that your seat are still assigned to you.

This happens often when there is a change in aircraft. As a PP said tie your reservation to an email account. Or, do as we do and drive.

We've tied ours to an email account and cell phone number and still been surprised. I suggest regularly checking on the airline web site; regularly so that you can choose your seats and not get middle seats in the back.

We flew again last week with Delta and had the same problem again, they swapped aircraft due to a delay and we had to scramble for seats together again.
