Hey, I found a nice review on the Animation World Network online. Here's the link... http://mag.awn.com/index.php?ltype=pageone&article_no=2052&page=1 (copy that and paste it onto where you usually type in the address on your browser).
I probably won't get a chance to see HOTR because of school and stuff, but I would really recommend reading this review. Particularly, what interested me was the author's thoughts on Disney's restructuring of their feature animation division. I think it's a much less biased opinion than either the Board's proclamation that "2D [animation] is dead," OR Roy's harsh criticism of the Company's decision to switch to 3D animation.
Also note what the author says about what the Disney Co. did w/ the story development. Contrary to what SaveDisney.com accused the Company of for not allowing artists w/ a strong visual background have much of a say in the story, this auther states that the animators and artists did, in fact, have a huge say in where the story went, quoting from the film's producer, Alice Dewey Goldstone (also did The Lion King, and Hercules).
Anyway, this was interesting to me and I thought you all would like to read it.
