Finally got to see this monorail in person at Disneyland this week. Only saw the Red one being run the three days we were there, though.
Here's a shot as it passed through our hotel, the Grand Californian.

Old news or not, I'm enjoying these pics.
Those monorails look great! Very sleek. Part contemporary futuristic, and part fifties retro-futuristic. Fantastic design!
As for the picture in the opening post:
You know what they say: an artist has to lie to tell the truth. The colors look very saturated. But techniques like this only aid in bringing to live the true vividness of the scene on your computer screen.

That is what i was thinking as well.
Too bad the new monorail has been an absolute disaster from the start. From the flawed design (blueprints were altered from the original design and not "noted") to the blunder of making non air conditioned cabin with windows and open outward about 2 inches. Looks like the vents that were added to the top arent going to work so they are having to go a step further and make them slide down into the frame.
I just wonder how many millions over budget this is. Hopefully it doesnt resemble how many months of due it has been.
