Am i the only one who collects Disney Dollars every year?This years money actually is promoting Chicken Little movie including the web site. :hurl: What if the movie is a box office bomb? :snore: Shouldn't they be promoting something more positive like Disneylands Party? :veryconfu

I think they need to keep MICKEY and gange on the money. maybe change their pose r something.


Would be like US money taking Washington off the one dollor bill and putting Will Smith because iRobot came out on DVD.

They are redoing the Disney Dollars. I don't know at this time what they are going to look like, however, whatever (if any) is available at your local Disney Store is what we will have until spring. I heard May in another post on this board. I'm hoping they keep Mickey Mouse too!

I also collect Disney Dollars and was surprised to see chicken little get top billing :veryconfu I need to go back and see, but I thinking Mickey has always been on one dollar bill. The five and ten change faces from time to time. Not happy about the missing Mickey! I would have bet the farm that any new bills would have had a Disneyland 50th tie in……. good thing I don’t own a farm :lol:

I wouldn't be surprised to see "Cinderelebration" stuff on the Disney Dollars in May (if that's when the're getting updated).

My guess of them using Chicken Little is this is Disney attempt to replace Pixar with Disney Studios' first computer animated movie.

You can get them at any Disney Store. Jus go to the counter and you can exchange for US Currency.

I just was at the Disney Store this past weekend getting some Disney dollars for my DD founf that the new One Dollar bill was Chicken Little. :fork: What happened to Mickey?

Ok... I think we are going to be ok. I am looking on EBay(take it for what its wroth) and they are saying the Chicken Little bill is a small limited run. That come MAY there will be new designs with the 50th anniversary of Disneyland. Can anyone in the know confirm this ?

Would it be possible that they're moving Mickey up to a higher denomination? It actually makes sense that the lower denominations can be switched out to promote what ever they want, but the most "valuable" character could go on a higher value bill. By the way, I have no idea what the re-design will bring, just my $.02

My family would always give me some Disney Dollars the Christmas before a Disney trip, but then they realized I never spend them, so they stopped. I have a few nice ones on display. I may need to buy some myself when I am there this summer if they are for the 50th Celebration.
