Okay so, me and my family have been about four times as a family. So with every visit we always do the same thing each time.... We ride Buzz Light yeay and buy a picture poster (Dinosaur@ak has one to)! It's about $25.00 but here is the kicker! It's a great way to get a family picture and they print the year on the picture(all years except last year, but they did this year) Plus it's a great to put up on the wall, you know the school pictures starting smaller and getting bigger!
Also I like to keep my parking tickets they give you at the gate. It has the date and really cool pictures on them. I put them in my scarp book!
Oh one more thing, if you are staying off site but what to go somewhere to cool down, last summer we took the monorail resort from MK to the Contemporary. They have a great big lobby with comfy couches in corners that are great for naps! Once we cooled off, we were back at MK.. Hey that beats the hour it takes us to get back to our hotel at DTD and the hour it takes to get back for the fireworks!

We also use every little thing for our scrap books.

Your Contemporary idea is great, been doing that for years.
I love both the Wave and Outer Rim lounges for a relaxing cocktail.

I've never gotten a parking ticket at WDW. But then again, I've never fed the meter either. :lookaroun

I wonder where are those couches you are referring to.

I haven't been there since the Fantasia shop usurped the area, and I really do not remember much.

But we used to do that as well. These square benches in this pic are the best. Quite disappointed when they were removed.

Always a Great Idea! I head to the Outer Rim Bar (Contemporary) or the Tambu Lounge (Polynesian) for a cool off and a few cocktails when its just to hot and crowded in MK.

Is the parking ticket a new thing? We used to go there quite a bit to visit a friend of ours that worked there as a CM and we never had any ticket to park. We just told them that we were meeting someone for dinner, and they let us through.

Well we got one last summer when we went to AK and MK. This past summer we did not park at the parks since we only went for the day. I had my mom and grandmother and we stayed in DTD since no rooms were avaiable on property. Do we took the Bus over.
The couches I refered to at the contempary... Once we exited the monorail we had to go down (2 flights I think) to the exit walking out to the marina on the pool side:ROFLOL:. we were actually going to try to rent a boat since we had never tried that before. Well low and behold as soon as we got ready a storm came in.. so we went back inside and took a nap.

There are couches in the lobby where the registration desk is. I hurt my leg on the stairs (fell on the last stair because they used to have a rug with an interlocking pattern that is hard to see for some people) and got laid up on one of the couches while the paramedic looked me over. No, I didn't sue. :)
