April is Easter and Spring Break season... so airfare and overall costs to any sunnier destination south of Boston is likely to be higher than surrounding months.

Don't know your specific situation or what you are looking to do, but as for discounts on airfare, there aren't really any. Your best bet is to try to fly in and out on an off-peak time flight, say mid afternoon, and during the week (Tuesday - Thursday) with a Saturday night stay in Orlando. Generally, those flight prices will be less than trying to fly out first thing on a Saturday morning.

Flight prices can change alot, and bounce back and forth. Your best bet is to keep searching, along with Jet Blue, check sites like travelocity and do a search of other major airlines to see if any happen to drop their rates. Decide on what you are willing to spend for the flight, and if you see flights that work with your schedule and budget, book them then and there, before the price changes again or they are no longer available.

Also, you may want to check for rates out of other area airports around Boston, they may be cheaper.

Good luck, and hope you find a flight at a good price!

Just booked my airfare for 4 for less than $900 roundtrip for April/May flying out of Providence on Southwest. Also Southwest is flying out of Logan now too. I would try Airtranas well as someone else suggested buut remember they charge for checked luggage so sometimes it really isn't cheaper. Just look everyday and deals will come up.

If you have a phone that allows it, get the Southwest Airlines App and sign up for "DING" notices. Wait until you get a notice for a discount fair from where you are from to where you are going. Usually they run about a month out (i.e., they are doing specials right now for flights in February)

If flying out of Providence is an option you can fly a lot cheaper on Southwest airlines. When I lived in southeastern MA PVD was always a ton cheaper and easier than BOS.
