I don't know... this is a tight budget.

In 2002 I booked a trip for 10 people for a senior trip over spring break. it included: flight, 2 expensive meals, all-star resort (5 in each room), towncar service to-and-from airport, and 5 day hopper "plus". The trip was 8 days. I did this without any help (except a travel agent for the flight). The total cost for all that was $817 pp. Plus extra food and souvenirs.

I guess a lot depends on the length of the trip and how many park tickets you get......

Even if we would have driven, our trip would have been over $500 each. I'll keep thinking about this, I'm just not sure how you can put this together. If I think of anything soon I'll let you know.

More information is needed:

How many days are you planning on staying?
Are you driving from NJ to FL?
If you are driving are you putting in tolls?
Are you trying to factor in gas as well? (that is a huge chunk of you budget if so)?
Are you renting a car?
Staying off property (if you are than you need to pay parking at the parks)
What season are you planning to go? (value is cheapest)
Ages of people going (hotels usually only allow 4 adults per room, for double occupancy, unless you get a suite at ASM.)

I know the ad that was running said you can get a family of 4 in for $1500. but you read the small print it's 2 adults, 1 junior and 1 child.

I really don't see how it can be done. Because even if you stayed in a really inexpensive room off-property, you'd still be spending half of your budget on park tickets. (That's assuming this is a five-day stay) Hotel and travel would most likely eat up the rest. That leaves no money for food -- which is another huge chunk of the budget.

If you fly you will not need a car. Use Disney Transportation. If you fly, I can not imagine being able to do this trip for $2000.

If you ate in room (purchased cereal, etc for meals), but IMHO eating at Disney is alot of the fun.

I just really cant see it happening for $400 per person, all included.

I can't either...and as a college student...I've tried. I've managed to get it around $550 a person...but that didn't include the flight down there.

I got my family of 4...2 children...2 adults to Disney for 6 nights and 7 days in 2000 under $2000. My dad gave me a budget and I went with it. If you will give more details I will see what I can find for you. I love planning wonderful vacations for people. I will need to know ages of people going, if you want to stay on property, how many days, and if you are willing to drive. I will also need to know what type of ticket you want. I am more than willing to help you out.

I just booked my 6 night trip no air for 2900. It inludes Wilderness lodge 5day hopper tickets dining and insurance for 4 people. Could probably get around 2000 if all stars not Lodge. I used AAA. Airfare I did on my own
