Hi, does anyone know what is the best airlines (Boston-Orlando) to book with? I'm looking for April 2007. Airfare is $$$$$$$$ since the gas prices have gone up. Thanks...

Out of boston, Jetblue is pretty good, but when AA does a fare sale, they can't be beat.

If you don't mind flying out of Providence, Southwest has very good fares.

keep checking Southwest...

My wife, my daughter, and I are heading down this coming Saturday for 8 nights. Back in January, I was able to book 3 round-trip tickets from Manchester to MCO for $400 total, after all taxes, etc... The next cheapest tix were ~$225 each (around $850 for all tickets after taxes, fees, etc...) on Jetblue out of Logan. We live in Boston, so Logan is definitely closer, but Manchster is only an hour drive. Factor in about $70 for long-term parking, and it's about what we'd pay for a taxi to and from Logan both ways.

Ever since Jet Blue entered the Boston market, Southwest's ticket prices have been insane!

Sign up for the fare notices on Orbitz and Travelocity.... they will email you when they have a fare that you like and they will also tell you if the fare drops to a point you want.

I would suggest also keep an eye out for Southwest... I've flown them a few times and it's ok. You have to transfer most likely - go through Baltimore if you can BWI - not Midway that's Chicago... They post fares about 6 month out and sometimes you can get the internet specials that they have.

Keep looking also... I found the best fares and car rental by just checking at random. You will probably find the better fares also in the fall when the price of Gas may go down (right now fares are up because of the price of gas...)

I just booked on JetBlue out of Boston...it was the cheapest that I could get. My preference is to fly from PVD, less hassle and cheaper parking, but the fares were just too high. Booked 8 tickets for $114 each way for September. Nothing else came close - Damn gas prices!

I'd say look at Manchester, NH or Providence, RI for Southwest... I always fly out of Manchester...

We also just booked JetBlue - Friday Nov 17 to Sat Nov 25. $1,000 for 4 round trip tickets out of Boston. Going down non-stop, coming back layover in NY. Not great, but not terrible either.
