Has anyone been to characterplooza at hollywood studios lately? I hear its more of a pain then worth seeing. Just trying to get some feedback before trip next week. Would love to see some rare character but not if its mad house. Is it still 4:50 in streets of america? I want to do when they have extra hours so we can do the dance party.

I did characterpalooza a couple of weeks ago and yes it was crazy, but I was able to hit up a few characters in the limited amount of time that I had. Usually it all depends on when Fantasmic is shown, but the first set of it takes place on Streets around 4:30-4:50. I had anticipated it happening at 4:50 so I did Muppets and I came out and it was already going on... so it really depends. The second set is usually around 5:20 or so and it can either be on Streets or by Echo Lake.

The characters that usually appear (they rotate) are Stitch, Minnie, Chip and Dale, Captain Hook and Mr. Smee, Queen of Hearts, Snow Queen, Jafar, Pinocchio, Gepetto, Pocahontas, Meeko, Jasmine, Belle (blue dress), Mary Poppins, Penguins, Green Army Man, and Rafiki.

Plan on moving as fast as you can so you can meet as many characters as you desire. Characters like Hook and Smee, Jasmine, and Belle all had long lines while characters such as Gepetto were standing around doing nothing.
