We are heading down in June. My son's #1 goal is to meet Kylo Ren and Chewy at Launch Bay. I know it will be packed ... Does anyone know how long the line is and can you fast pass to meet them ?

Hi there,
I see you are new. For future reference, this thread should go in General Discussion or trip planning. You'll get far more answers there than here in Chit Chat. :)

Now, for your question...the lines can run anywhere from 20-40 minutes. They are the worst middle of the day and are better in the morning or late afternoon. The wait times do show on the app. I would recommend checking periodically and going when they decrease on the app. Kylo Ren's lines tends to run longer than Chewie's. FP+ is not available.

Also, if you are a Disney Visa cardholder, there is a special meet and greet with Kylo Ren which should have a minimal wait and includes a free photo download.

In October, our wait was 20 minutes for Chewbacca but the line moved fast that day. The wait for Kylo was also 20 minutes but we didn't have time to wait for him. The only thing to remember about the Disney Visa card for meet and greets is that it isn't available all day. The meet is only certain time frame each day. I forgot what is is but I think the Kylo Disney Visa meet ended at 4pm or so.

We went there first thing in the morning in September and got right in to see both characters with only a few minute wait.
I am not sure how old your child is but meeting Kylo Ren can be intimidating. The actor is great and stalkes over to you, they have his music playing and he'll talk to you. My husband met him, my 2 yo was having none of it, and even he was nervous!

Have fun

In September we went one evening just before park closing and there was about a two minute wait to meet both. We went a few days later first thing in the day and found the same to be true...no waits at all really.

Lines were 30-40 minutes for each of them when I was there. I'd say plan on 40 minutes each to be safe..we almost didn't get to meet Chewy bc of time constraints..and ended up receiving some amazing Pixie Dust.
Both of them are worth the wait!! :)

Are you also doing Jedi Training Academy?

My kid talked of nothing else but meeting Kylo Ren for weeks before our visit.

We wait in line, finally enter the room..and kiddo looked nervous! He wouldn't look directly at him. It was hilarious.
A few weeks later we were at opening night of Rogue One at a local theatre. They had Star Wars characters there, including Kylo Ren. My son spoke to him, had a non-awkward photo taken with him..and didn't look nervous at all.

When I asked why he was so different that time, he replied "Because Mom, that's not the real Kylo Ren. The REAL Kylo Ren is at Disney World, and I didn't want him to use the dark side of the force on me when I met him. This one doesn't have any powers."
All I could do was laugh.

I love it! That's an awesome response and thought process!
