So our 60 day out is coming up. Taking a 4&7 year old first week of May. What does character dining feel and look like right now? Do we see more being added this spring? I realize no one really knows but just curious on any insight. Thanks guys.

Yes
They all are socially distanced, meaning that you can wave at them and do a picture with them in the background, but thats it at the places where characters have returned. No hugs, no signatures.

I wouldnt do Cinderella's Royal table as theres only Cindy who waves from the center walkway and the food is dreadful now.
BoG is good.
Crystal Palace currently doesnt have Pooh and Friends, but the food is back to great.

we've eaten Garden Grill while they are distancing -- they do not sit anyone on the upper level so the charters walk around the upper level stopping behind your table on the lower section.

got to think with the rapid drop of omicron there will be a good chance things will get back to what they were, i would book now, and watch the reports of how things will play out 2 months from now. i did a chart showing omicron has dropped over 80% in new cases over the last 4 weeks,

I wonder is it even worth it now? Any experiences at Artist Point
I ate at Artist Point on 1/29 and it was amazing. The food was really good and the characters were a lot of fun. Lots of dancing and character parades and they really took their time at each table. I was alone so much easier to justify the price.

I’m wondering about this too and hope they will be back to normal in May. We would like to do some character meals, but will see how things play out. The one I’m really waiting for is breakfast with Pooh at CP and princesses at CRT. My youngest is 8 yrs. and dying to meet Piglet and some princesses and I know that this is the last “magical” trip for her before she moves past that stage. It makes me sad we might miss out.

Do you think it’s suitable for a 4 and 7 year old? Or too fancy? Thanks!
I think it’s one of the rare character meals that is great for kids and adults. The food was definitely more unique than typical family style character meals. I can tell you every table around me had kids. There were two little girls next to me who went crazy when Snow White came out. I would definitely recommend it!
