My kids love Chef Mickey's the best. They like having breakfast with Mickey and the monorail passing thru is fun (except when you get mooned, but thats another story). We hit the monorail to the MK afterwards...its a nice way to start the day.

Last July we ate at the Liberty Tree Tavern for the first time, dinner was excellent and seeing the characters in colonial garb was different, but there wasn't much interaction (like Mickey leading the napkin twirling in Chef Mickey's)

We want to try the breakfast at Cape May in the Beach Club, I hear the food is very good and the characters are in beach garb...something different.

We have always enjoyed the Character Breakfast at O'Hana because of the tropical setting and fun character parade. Another thing we like is that a variety of food is brought to your table so there is no getting up and down to go to the buffet line!

Chef Mickey's is also a favorite, for the same above mentioned reasons. Crystal Palace is also nice, because if you get there early its a nice way to start a Magic Kingdom day. This upcoming trip we will be doing Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast, the Princess breakfast in Epcot, a Liberty Tree dinner, and the little one and I will go to Aurora's Tea Party. Therefore, I may have a new favorite after December !

However, my up to now favorite is sadly gone. That would have been the breakfast on the Empress Lily Riverboat at what was then called Walt Disney World Shopping Village. The price was the same as any other character breakfast, but felt oh so special and elegant on that grand paddlewheeler. My firstborn is now 25, but still remembers his 4th birthday breakfast !

Well I love Chef Mickey's, but I want to try something new this year. We go to Chef Mickey's every year for lunch and breakfast. Last year we had dinner at the 1900 Park Fare in GF. It was really nice. The fair God Mother held my baby and sang him a song. We got it all on video. This year we are going to try the breakfast at the 1900 park fare. I will keep you posted once I come back.

I'm definitely going with Chef Mickey's on that one. It's so festive! And I can't believe how much stuff they have at the dessert tray! Lots of memories there, I'll tell ya.

Chef Mickey's is the best. I prefer dinner. They have prime rib, chicken, ham, and a desert bar that will blow you away. The characters are always so nice and make each guest feel special. Some of my favorite memories at Disney and with the characters are at Chef Mickey's.

LOL It wasn't breakfast but dinner in the Councourse Steakhouse, which is right next to Chef Mickey's. We were enjoying a nice dinner after a long and very hot day in MGM (we made PS at the last minute from MGM). My youngest likes waving to the monorail as it goes by. All of a sudden she announces "Hey! I got mooned!" The monorail was stopping at the station right above us and sure enough there was a full moon in view.

I would say CP for the Pooh gang breakfast.
Love the breakfast lasagne!

Nice to be in the MK early, and both my daughter and wife have a thing for these characters.....

Chef Mickey's is nice as well, but I like being in the park.

Only 2 Kev, I gain like 20 just from Chef Mickeys! I need to watch what I eat this June!

But yeah, I really like Chef Mickey's for breakfast, best food and cheaper. Lunch and dinner I think are a bit of a rip-off (plus the food is nothing to write home about either.....)

We always go to Crystal Palace. When we go it's not very crowded. You don't feel like everyone is closing in on you. Plus, my DH love Eeyore. My Dh is kind of a monotone type of guy. Even though he's having a good time, he sounds and acts like he's not. He's not as adimated as myself. But when we went to Crystal Palace for the first time, he was enteracting with Eeyore and that was the ONLY character that he lost himself in the moment.

I like going to Donald's Breakfestsaurus (Donald is my favorite.), but the the only problem is that there isn't much room to move around the buffet line.

Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge was also a great time, especially the way they served the food. And all the kids (and shameless adults. Stop mocking me!) get to ride across the room with Chip n' Dale on their "souvenir horsies." And the food was delicious!

We've enjoyed all of the character meals we've attended.

My older daughter loved the Crystal Palace because of Eeyore.

My youngest daughter loved the Princess Breakfast in Norway, She was even dressed as Jasmine.

My wife liked the costumes at Hollywood and Vine  ,wish they didn't get rid of that one.

We all enjoyed the Garden Grill.

I'm looking forward to the Liberty Tree Tavern. :sohappy: It's hard to get in there.

On our last trip, we ate at garden grill and including us there were only three tables seated. This gave the characters more time to interact with individuals. At one point we had Dale sitting in the booth with us coloring on or son's paper, then Mickey came up and scolded Dale. By the end of it, we had Mickey, dale, chip, and pluto all around the table for it seemed like ten minutes and it was just the funniest thing. Pure comedy! That had to have been the best time we ever had with character dining:)
