Character Costumes for Sale???

Not sure how authentic these are..but arent these supposed to be destroyed when retired? BTW, I'm not advocating the sale of these. Just found it on social media

They're authentic for sure. These are the domestic violence Disney characters and you can clearly see that Minnie is missing a tooth due to Mickey's anger along with his gambling and drinking problems.

The heads seem authentic, though with replaced eyes and the rest of the outfits look cheap and fake however.

I would pay $100 for them, and thats only because I know I could easily find a nut in here that would give me 1k for them..

The guy should have them for sale for 20k, cause any nut willing would pay 10k, would certainly pay 20k for old sweetie stuff.

Never heard of Disney giving away character costumes. So if they are real and are Disneys property and he wont say how or where he got them... can we infer that someone from within Disney took them without permission? So how can he sell Disney property that was taken and was unauthorized to be sold??

They probably are real... of course that would also mean that they are stolen and if someone in Disney's legal department see this they will probably be calling the authorities and filing the paperwork to have the costumes returned to Disney while the person trying to sell them will be getting to explain how he came about receiving stolen property.

The fact that he refuses to state how he acquired them gives the indication that he knows full well that he shouldn't have them and that they are stolen. I'm unaware of any state where it isn't a crime to receive stolen property. If people are going to sell stolen property you would expect them to be smart enough to try and do it privately and not advertise on the internet... My respect for the modern criminal is falling, I thought they would be smarter than this... at least try to sell it on the darkweb.

They look like their early 80's versions....But with Goofy's eyelids removed...

There is also the "Other" Possibility that they could been costumes that were used in the former Ice shows...Mickey & Minnie's eyes have more of a Mesh like look to them which is helpful for the performer...Like this one for example...

Golly, they have big feet for mice. Since they only have three fingers and a thumb on each hand, you'd think they too would only have three toes and a big toe. Seems they wouldn't need shoes that huge!
