they are adorable...I kind of prefer caramel apples though with pecans or walnuts all stuck on the caramel...and then I want it sliced otherwise I end up with the stickiness all over my cheeks!

Nope, not a fan. I've never been fussed with Toffee Apples which is the only similar thing we have in England. If I feel like eating an apple, I'll eat an apple (this doesn't happen often! ) I don't want to eat an apple by holding it awkwardly on a stick and try to bite through a layer of chocolate and gook while trying to retain my dignity and teeth!

Fruit and candy should not be mixed, it goes against my belief system!

My mother in law (may she rest in peace) was a HUGE candy apple fan!!

I don't dislike them but, I find them terribly difficult to eat. Like Di, trying to retain dignity and salvaging your teeth is nearly impossilbe while trying to eat one of these yummy delights.

Oh Yeah! Caramel apples (with nuts for me, please) are an absolute must! No trip is complete without a few there and a few shoved in my carry-on to enjoy at home. Love! Don't like the mess? Either have the candy counter slice them for you or slice them yourself when you are ready.
