My wife and I will be in Disney April 29 - May 6 and were planning on booking a character breakfreast, we have previously eaten at Crystal Palace and Restaurantasarus, both of which we really enjoyed. Just seeing if anyone has any good suggestions? Thanks.

Everyone seems to love Chef Mickey's. I haven't tried it yet, but I hear great reviews!

I also enjoyed 1900 Park Fare (at the Grand Floridian). Ohana was good (at the Poly), but I wasn't blown away.

If you have any critters in your gang (young or old) who love princesses, Akershus (sp??) is a good bet. It's in the Norway Pavillion at Epcot - a great way to get to the park before it opens! Food was decent, but nothing like the Crystal Palace (my personal favourite character breakfast) or Boma (my favourite breakfast on property).

A place that isn't a character breakkie per se, but one that is full of, uh, "characters" is the Whispering Canyon Café at the WL...

I can confidently say agree that Chef Mickey's at Contemporary was a lot of fun and we all thought the food was great and selections ample. No children were in our party, seven total ranging in age from 20-85. It was a lot of fun for everyone.

I'd really like to try Cape May Cafe at Beach Club; I always hear really good remarks about that place.

We have never done a character breakfast. Should we do the Chef Mickey or the Restaurantasarus? I just know I want to see Donald Duck!!!:D

We have done the Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's. We really enjoyed both. Chef Mickey's had more characters though which was fun. It was just my DH & I and they made the rounds to our table just as much as the tables with little kids. I thought that was pretty neat that they acknowledge people of all ages. Even though we are all really just kids at heart when at WDW! :D

We do a lot of character meals and frankly....these two were the two worst character meals we've ever been to.

Chef Mickey's can be very chaotic...it's very busy and noisy. The food is average at best IMO.

We went to Cafe May once and we'll never go back. Below average breakfast buffet food and slow, inattentive service.

Of the ones you haven't done...I recommend 1900 Park Faire at the Grand Floridian....great food and a fairly fast character rotation. Also, Ohana has a good character breakfast too. If you have a little girl you need to try to get into Cinderella's Royal Character Breakfast and the Princess Storybook Breakfast, though at this late date you may not get in.
