Character Breakfast

Can anyone please recommend or give an opinion on the best place to go for a Character Breakfast, both for value for money for food and the characters?

I have been to MGM Studios and both were great value but any other opinions would be gratefully appreciated!

All the best

I've only been to a couple. We love the breakfast at Hollywood and Vine with Starlet Minnie. The food is great, the characters spend a lot of time at your table and the dance routine is cute. With 4 teenagers this last trip, all you can eat buffet was a bargain. Kept everyone full for about 12 minutes or so. (LOL) We have also been to the breakfast at Ohana's. Food was good and so was the character interaction. The parade through the tables with parents and small ones was fun too watch. Our group was too cool for that and besides, no one wanted to stop eating.

Def. Chef Mickey's We've been there quite a few times. The food is excellent, but its the fun atmosphere that makes it great. We ususally make 'reservations' for around 11, that way its not as croweded.

You can't beat breakfast with Winnie the Pooh, Tigger etc down at the Crystal Palace. CP is under refurbishment at present but I believe that it reopens in December.

Fulton's CrabHouse has great photo ops(characters are in sailor/captain outfits) but the food choice was limited. 1900 Park Faire at the Grand Floridian was really good. Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace were great for characters and food choices.

Chef Mickey would be my first choice, Crystal Palace was not bad either. I felt the atmosphere at Chef Mickey was more fun, festive and lively, food not that bad either. CP you can get in the park before the crowd, its nice but a little more laid back with the Pooh gang.

we enjoyed the charector breakfast at the cape may cafe at the beach club. it's with in walking distance from the swan dolphin or the board walk and a quick boat ride to epcot or MGM. the buffet was great, my wife especially loved the huge fruit bar. there was goofy chip, dale, and minnie.
