Character Audition Face Pock Marks

Hello, I'm new so I'm sorry if this has already been addressed! I'm applying for the DCP for the upcoming Fall session and want to audition for a face character or character performer. However, I have a (minor) pock mark scar on my cheek and a small one on my forehead. Will I likely be eliminated immediately? And if so for face characters, does the same standard apply to generic character performers in parades? (Of course, I know other things come into play in the audition cuts, but I know they often cut people on physical appearance first!) Should I cover them before an audition?
Thanks for any help!
Note: These marks are minor enough they never show up in photographs

Hi Valerie!

I highly doubt you will be eliminated immediately for things like facial pock mark scars, especially if they don't show up in photographs. I would think that if they can be covered up with make-up, then that should not be an issue.

Best wishes on your application and audition!

Welcome aboard,

If they never show in photos, then I don't know why you're worrying. Disney are not going to examine your face under a microscope seeking ways to eliminate you before you've even begun.
Use your normal (light) covering of make-up and everything should be fine

Sweetheart you never seen pictures of hollywood actors without makeup?

You're fine dear. I think you're beautiful the way you are, but yeah those blemishes would have to be concealed. You needn't worry though.

Disney has some of the best makeup artists.
