I got the date right! Well, this update mainly focuses on the WONDERS of WDW. After just getting off the Disney Wonder a few weeks ago(in another update), I was very excited to go and see Wonders of Life at Epcot one more time, as it may be the last. Then on to the Wonderful new Finding Nemo The Musical (third time for me!) and some other updates from the 2 parks. We shall Start with Epcot!

Epcot:
The Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow is just fine all together.

-Wonders of Life is great, I really miss how this amazing pavilion is not open year-round.

-The Body Wars Simulator was creeking, squeaking, and making lots of noise the entire time. There was only 1 simulator running, and only 6 people (incl. myself) in it. The noises were a bit distracting, and the entrance ramp area smelled of burning gears. But hey, it brought back many memories, so I'm good with that.

-Saw Cranium Command for the 1st time, and I must say that's Epcot summed up in 15 minutes. To educate as well as inform. Great Show, and wish I can see it again. However, the preshow was without audio for the 1st minute, until a CM came up to fix it. Very funny, and a great show altogether.

-The Making of Me was also clever, but I had seen that before. I never noticed the effectiveness of the wide screen format, as it really does bring out the best in the film. Martin Short does an amazing job with that role.

-All and all, WoL is alive and ok. It could use some work, but hey, I'm not complaining, just reporting the facts.

-There is a new Rehab. wall up to the right side of Guest Relations.

Animal Kingdom!

-Nothing much to report here, other than Nemo pulled in a giant crowd for the shows, backing up to Chester and Hester's Hillbilly land. We were waiting near the huge dino, and still managed to get in with great seats. Don't let the line discourage you, as almost everyone gets in.

-Demolition has indeed started for the new Asia restaurant, as a huge tree clearing is evident.

-Nemo has been added to the park maps, with a new illustration of theater in the wild as an enclosed venue. The description reads as follows: "19 Finding Nemo--The Musical- "Sea" this exciting, original stage show that brings Disney-Pixar's "Finding Nemo" to life right before your eyes through merging puppetry with live performances!" There are 3 icons: Hand held Captioning, Assistive listening devices, and Guest must be able to transfer from their wheelchair/ECV to experience this attraction, which I found a bit odd.

-Everest Still continues to grace the park map cover.

-Some stone work has been added to the sign out front. I wonder if it will become a water feature, as the design appears to accommodate that.

-A new billboard for the Musical.

That's all for now! Ask any questions you would like!

Empty. There were 10 others in Making of Me, the same 10 others in Cranium Command, and 5 others in Body Wars. There couldn't have been more than 50 people in the building, at an absolute max. It was also 10:00 to 11:00 am, so it may have gotten busier.

I did the new Nemo musical for the first time this Sunday at the 10:00 AM AP only event. I really enjoyed the show. The costumes, sets, effects and performers are all great. The only thing I really found missing that I was hoping to see was the angler fish scene. After the incredible job the imagineers did with the same scene in The seas with Nemo and friends at Epcot I was really looking forward to seeing a Broadway version of the same scene.

I was in the WOL in the afternoon, probably around 2 or 3, there was no more people in there at that point than there was when you were there. It was neat to see that place again, kinda sad though. Probably the last time I will ever be in there. Looked like a ghostown.:(

We'll visit one more time during this week's trip for nostalga and digital picture taking purposes.... but like you... it will probably be our last.

My last ride on Body Wars was not the most pleasureable... especially after eating a Mickey ice cream sandwich before riding....:hurl: :hurl:

I saw someone with a WDWMagic shirt on right in front of me just when the show started and I forgot to say hello afterwards. Was that you? I was in the upper bowl at the far end from the entrance door.

That's odd, because I know for a fact you can stay in your chair. I mean, you can transfer if you really want to I guess. Strange.

you always do the best updates!!! Thank you!:sohappy:

Hey Thanks!

That's odd, because I know for a fact you can stay in your chair. I mean, you can transfer if you really want to I guess. Strange.

They even asked a wheelchair group in front of me if she could transfer. I know there are several places where a chair can be parked. Possibly due to the popularity of the show?

It would have been neat, but I think enjoyed the differences between the ride and the show, and since the Angler Fish was a big scene in the ride, it didn't need to be in the show. Of coarse, some things just need repeating for story purposes, such as the Shark Sub, EAC, Jellyfish, etc. But the charade fish weren't in the ride and play a big part in the show. The tank gang is the same way, not at all in the ride (with the exception of Peaches in the finale windows.)

Glad to hear all of you are getting to WOL while it's still open.

I'll be back with a Candlelight update on the 22nd along with maybe a DAK update. :xmas:

WoL was consistently vacant while I was there at different times during the day.

Great for picture taking, crappy for the future of the pavilion.

I also noticed the noisy simulators. Got worse as the day went on...

I was wearing my WDWmagic shirt. If you are facing the stage i was on the right hand side second level about 2 rows up. I was sitting on the right of 3 other adults and 4 girls and I have black hair cut about 1/8" long. If that sounds like who you saw then that was me.

well, not a popular opinion.... but that is good news to me. even though i think CC is a good show, the rest (as we have debated for a while) is extremely outdated.

thanks for the report

I was thinking that CC could make a HUGE comeback if updated with some more...recent starts. John lovtz is still good, so re-shoot that, but get new stars for the rest. ellen could use another Epcot attraction. jk.
