Changing Rooms at Blizzard Beach

I am going to Blizzard Beach for the first time with my family, 4 kids and 2 adults. I was wondering about the changing rooms. Is there any privacy in them and are they clean?

It's been forever since I've been but I remember them mostly being open with some smaller private areas (or at least private showers).

They were also (somewhat unavoidably) sandy but otherwise clean.

That is how I remember them from 1 1/2 years ago. I'm trying to remember if there was a 'family' changing room (like a family bathroom) but I honestly don't remember. I had no need of one so wasn't looking lol. Ask via chat on the WDW website or call them!

It's just one big open room with lots of benches. There's no cubicles or anything. The showers also only have a thin curtain and nothing to stop people walking in on you. They are clean..ish but there isn't very much privacy there. The changining rooms are rarely busy in my experience so you'll be fine.

Go with your bathing suit on, underneath your regular clothes. This way you don't need to use the changing rooms and just change by the lockers.
When you're ready for leaving, dry off in the sun. Use the changing rooms to dry off thoroughly and dress. Shower when you get back to your resort in the privacy of your room.
Works for us.

With regard to the women's side, yes, they are clean--at least in the morning. (I've never gone there later in the day, so I can't comment on later times.) Also, I visit WDW yearly in mid-May with "moderate" crowds, which may also have a lesser impact on facilities, versus high season crowds. (Note: Although I didn't get a chance to visit Blizzard Beach this past May, I did go there for about the past 10 years prior to that.)

There's plenty of clean, changing cubicles available with drapes for privacy. There's also restrooms, and draped shower stalls as well. Never had any issues there or at Typhoon Lagoon.

Draped cubicles? Us men don't have that luxury lol
