changing resorts

We're planning a trip for Thanksgiving week. So far, we have reservations at CS. But, 2 people in our party will have an AP. Since the AP discounts aren't available yet, we don't know if a Deluxe resort, possibly the Contemporary, will be in our price range. Assuming it is, how feasible is it to stay for x nights at CS and the balance at C? Does Disney do anything to move us or is it all up to us? This subject has been asked before, but I can't seem to locate the threads. Any help would be appreciated.

Other than having to repack everything in the middle of your stay, it's really quite simple. Bell services will move your luggage for you -- just call them in the morning and tell them where it needs to go and they'll tell you about what time in the afternoon it will be at your new resort.

We did this on our honeymoon and Disney was great about it. We moved several times and Disney took care of everything each time.
