Changing my mind on reservation days

We arrive Friday the 26th. I would love some advice on if I should switch up two of my days. I have reserved Saturday HS, Sunday MK, Monday EP, Tuesday AK, Wednesday HS. We have tickets for Halloween party on Tuesday so now I’m thinking I should swap Sunday to AK and Tuesday to MK. It’s only two of us mom and adult daughter. We both like afternoon hotel breaks so that’s why I planned AK on Tuesday thinking we’d be done there by about 2. I think I’m over thinking and over planning…

I would keep it as is. You can go back to room and freshen up then head on over to the party. Its always exciting coming in when the party is about to start and see all the costumes. Enjoy!

Thank you. Ok I’m going to leave it. It’s such a hard decision to make these reservations in advance , it’s been 16 years since our last trip there, ALOT has changed. I have been reading every tip and trick, I’m not going to obsess this week, it can start again Saturday morning with our first genie+ Pick of slinky dog!!

During the day MK should be less busy than normal during party days because of the earlier closure. I would hit MK on the party days and avoid on the non party days

I agree with the poster above. Since you were already planning on a short AK day go back to your room, rest and freshen up then go to MK when they let you in early for the party.

We put AK and Epcot as our 2 weekend parks due to their size. Additionally one of the disney road races was occuring and this was the least impactful for us. I would absolutely try to put MK and HS in the middle of the week.

I just got back and I did AK on Tuesday followed by the party. I got there at rope drop and was able to do everything by 2. Ate lunch and took a break in the room. Back to mk by 7 for the party.

The only thing I would do is switch up your Sunday and Monday. Epcot was pretty empty this past Sunday while mk was much busier.

I agree. Keep as is. Having MK day and party on same day is a lot. With AK, you could finish up early, go back to your room, freshen up, and have time to change into your costume before heading back out to the party.
