Changes to Wishes?

Just got back from WDW, Thanksgiving. I was there in the summer and saw Wishes several times. On Thanksgiving it was different. They didn't do the pirate part and the fireworks of the skulls and the taking of the castle. Was that taken out to reduce show time or is this a holiday thing?

If it was this past summer you've seen 2 different shows. During the summer they were running the limited time Summer Nightastic show which included things like the 'blowing up the castle' sequence. Now, unless you're at a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party show they are showing the classic Wishes show which is very different. During the MVMCP events, they show Holiday Wishes.
