Changes to Tapestry of Dreams

I saw ToD on Friday the 13th and noticed some major changes! The sprite and Birdman are now gone, taking their place are the two other puppets (cant remember the names) that were just placed where ever in the parade.

Actually, the sprites and birds aren't gone for good.

The only reason why they didn't appear is because of wind.

If they bring out the parade when wind conditions aren't the best, the sprites and birds will not come out, since they aren't as strong or as stable as the other puppets due to the fact that they have large wings and they can very easily get blown away in the wind. They've done this practice before (even with ToN) and if wind conditions aren't good again, they'll do it again if they have to.

phillip hit the nail on the head. Most parades and shows at WDW have modified versions they send out in case of bad weather/heavy wind.

I saw a modified version of ToD when I was down there as well. The Sprites and birdmen were also missing, and they all marched in line (disc and hammerman didn't go off on their own, they marched in line too) I was still good though!

That's exactly what I saw, I was still really great, I think I actually like that one better than the normal one

At least you got to see something of the parade...we were there a few days ago and it was cancelled altogether because of the wind.

And then to make matters worse, a few days later we only got to see a seriously shortened version of the share a dream come true parade at MK due to rain.

The weather here lately has really sucked

I was there at the end of June this past year and boy did the weather suck then! It POURED every day for just abou the whole day during our whole trip. It wasn't just the normal afternoon thunderstorm, it started raining and didin't stop.

Yeah, the weather here has been quite chilly lately...Hopefully it'll warm up soon, although, I don't mind the low 60's.

Has anything definate come up about what will happen to ToD as of March 1?

I'm waiting to hear too. I really want them to go back to ToN, but that doens't look like it's going to happen.
