Changes to Ohana Menu??

Sorry if this is a repeat question, but I have searched the boards and couldnt find anything about it. I heard recently that Ohana stopped serving their scalloped potatoes and started serving a noodle dish. We have reservations there again this year and when I called WDW they told me they were serving garlic potatoes. Has anyone been there very recently that can confirm or deny this.

I was there two weeks ago,

You get the following

Welcome Bread - Mini loaves of a pinapple coconut bread

Salad

Appitizers - fried pork dumplings, the chicken wings, and a Thai influenced noodle dish. It has a peanut sauce on it.

Meat: Chicken, Beef, Pork, and Shrimp

Mixed vegetables

Dessert: Bread pudding with vanilla ice cream and banana fosters sauce.


Last I heard the pineapple with caramel was still available, but we didn't try to get it.


I may have some picture (I have to go though them). If I do have some, ill post them late tonight.

Edit: Sorry no pictures. At least none showing the noodles. I do have one of my daughter eating welcome bread though.

The potatoes, while good, just always seemed out of place. I much prefer rice or noodles with a Pan-Asian/Polynesian meal. It just seems to fit better.

I guess they don't eat the noodles.

As far as cross contamination, if you are so allergic that just having food that is prepared in the same kitchen as peanuts is a risk, that pretty much leaves out any commerical restaruant.

I would rather have the potatoes than noodles so I hope its back by the time I go back this summer. Hopefully someone can post when things change.

Things change all the time. If you like making WDW recipes at home then wander on over to our recipe thread. It's stickied to the top of this forum. :wave:
