I just read online that "One Solitary Life" and "Do You Hear What I Hear?" have been edited out of the Candlelight Processional narration, and that a short recounting of the history of "Silent Night" has been added. Is this correct? If so, any thoughts as to the new presentation? Any ideas why the change?

Firstly the "one solitary life" was omitted this year, as was "Do you Hear what I Hear", as for the silent night narration it seem to be the same as last year. The script was modified to be more modern and also as the show was overrunning most nights. I know many folks have been vocal about the "One Solitary Life" so hopefully it will be back. As for "silent night", I did not notice any changes there.
There has been a lot of changes to candlelight this year, new choir risers for example and the fact the cast choir was auditioned this year. (in the past it was sign up and hope you were chosen,) which in my opinion has lead to the cast choir being the best it has ever been. I would expect to see the show being tweaked over the next few years!
