Never had to deal with this problem but.....If you have made adrs for 3 and ended up with only 2 going...do they give you a problem? This COULD be a problem as we get closer to trip....but Id hate to have to do adrs all over again with chance of losing what we have. I know one problem is that if they knew was only 2 could have given you table for only 2 but from what Ive seen Most tables will fit 3-4 anyway.

It won't be a problem. Just tell them when you check in.

No, you will be fine going from 3 to 2. Decreases aren't an issue...increases are.

I dealt with this in 2011 when a member of my party got sick for a day. Wasn't an issue at all, and I didn't adjust my ADRs for the same reason you aren't...I didn't want to lose them.

This should be the case, BUT if you know in advance of your vacation I would call Disney Dining and have them adjust your party size on your ADRs to 2. Why? So that there is no chance of being "dinged" that $10 per person fee for a no-show.

They only charge the fee if *noone* from the reservation shows up. I've arrived with less than the reservation amount and never had a problem.

Though the one time you'll definitely want to call to reduce the people on a reservation is anything that you have to pre-pay for, like meals in the Castle or the dinner shows.

Yeh my only worry is that If I call to reduce from say 3-2 would I have to make new res for the 2 and risk not being available?

It depends on the party size, 3 to 2 probably isn't going to be an issue, but we had one for 6 once that 2 people couldn't make and they wouldn't seat us saying they needed everyone in the party to be there. Not sure if it is still that way.
