Challenge suggestions....

We are going back to WDW for our first trip since Christmas 2019 in July this year. Normally we would hire a car and split up for a father/son mother/daughter day where the boys go and do things outside the parks for the day whilst we stay in the parks.

This time we aren't hiring a car and I thought it would make it fun if instead we split up and compete against each other in challenges in the parks. I was thinking we'd have to take pictures of ourselves doing certain things like, eating a yellow food/with the monorail going past in the background (obviously that's Epcot exclusive) etc....

Has anyone got any suggestions or other challenges that you have done?

There are scavenger hunt lists you can get online. When my son was growing up I would make a list of 20 things to find and give him $5 spending money for each one he located. It made him have to read signs and look at details around the park he normally wouldnt have otherwise.

That’s not just Epcot exclusive. There are certain places to accomplish that in the MK…

When Molly was with All Ears, the “crew” on the channel used to perform these great scavenger hunts at the parks. She always said that they were available to download for free…I would go to that website and go into the archives and I’m sure you will find some great ones…

For photo challenges, the easiest ones would be photos on attractions or photos with characters (who gets the most).

Animal Kingdom would be fun to see who can get pics of the most different types of animals (can include animal characters such as those in Festival of the Lion King, Kevin from UP, etc.).

For something more complicated, you could do an alphabet photo challenge (photos with something beginning with an "A", a "B" and so on).

If unable to find then search youtube and play the video. Near the beginning they board up the game board and you can take a photo either to print or just play with the digital image.

Try to get pictures with as many "Walls of Disney" as you can. My teen daughter enjoyed that a few trips ago. The "Purple Wall" is probably the most famous, but there are several others if you google a list.
