Apparently if you post anything in this forum that isn't talking about how great all star vacation homes is...it's going to be deleted, so don't even bother posting. I've watched as numerous posts mysteriously disappear...

Apparently I should post that "I love All Star" and how great they are and it might stay longer than a few days...if not...welll.....

Ever wonder why this forum is basically empty? Now you know!

(Until they delete this post too!) LOL

I've watched as 5 posts in this forum over the past few weeks just downright disappear that had anything to do with people staying at offsite vacation properties. Why even bother putting up a forum when people begin to discuss an offsite vacation property...then someone comes along and deletes the posts about them? What a complete joke! Watch..this one will be gone soon too.....

I'm not kidding either Corus...I don't have anything against any sponsors or anything... but if you're going to post a forum about offsite lodging...why not let people discuss it honestly and openly?

Oh I know!!...cause someone doesnt' want you to!

Because it seems ludicrous to me to put up a forum to discuss offsite housing options..then when people start discussing them their posts are deleted. Whatever the reason, it's censorship! People need to know that their posts are getting vaporized....so why even bother putting up the forum in the first place? If this site were doing an actual service to it's visitors..they would allow posts here. There are tons of gorgeous offsite properties and resorts near Disney people could be staying in..and saving a boatload of $$ over staying the parks too. It's a pity no one will ever know about them though...cause any posts along these lines simply disappear. Notice how the only posts remaining are about vague, innocuous subjects...like..the Celebration library? That there's not one post in the "offsite housing " forum about actual offsite vacation housing? LOL

I give this post about another 10 minutes before it's gone too!

Did you not write a post about offsite housing a few weeks ago?

It's not censorship because this is not a democratically controlled forum. When you join, you agree to the rules set forth, period. If the mods or webmaster choose to remove something, you have no grounds to fight--that's the way it is. You're always free to leave and find a new place to post.

Have you also considered that maybe the individual that made the post deleted it themselves and that it has nothing to do with Steve or the forum?

I think that the mods are doing their members a huge disservice. If people want to look into offsite housing, then sure you would think this is the place to discuss it...but I guess not..as any threads related to it are vaporized. Sure, I've posted in this forum and they've been deleted too...definitely..you betcha. Ever notice how there's not one thread though related to offsite housing in the offsite housing forum? The only ones they leave are related to innocuous topics like the Celebration library of all things...don't you think people would want to know or at least be able to openly discuss other options or places?

Gee, I thought this was a website to help get GOOD information on the Disney area and vacations in general..guess I was wrong..

Not just mine guys... if I inadvertently posted something against the rules and it got deleted..fine..so be it...but there are plenty of other examples...look at what's left!! (almost nothing)

So no topic is permitted? Nothing is fair game? (Apparently not).... and I'm not even talking about my own posts! Geez...

Did the posts contain profanity or in any other way violate the rules?
Could they have been considered Spam which is also against the rules?

I didn't see the original posts so I'm just guessing.

Steve is the owner of this forum. You need to PM him yourself and let him know your concerns. If you wait around for someone else to do it, its obviously not that big a deal.
