Celebrating a 30th Birthday at WDW on 30th November - Ideas for making it Special please!!

Hi fellow Disney fans!

I am heading to WDW staying at OKW - as we are DVC members, mid Nov 2013. I will be celebrating my 30th Birthday there and I already have plans made for my actual Birthday which is 30th Nov.

I'm looking to go to the Cirque du Soleil on the evening followed by a meal at Narcoossees at 9pm hopefully being able to then see the fireworks above the castle whilst at the restaurant

As an experienced WDW vacationer I know the place really well.........but...... I really want to do some things a little bit out of the box that will make the vacation really special and memorable.

Doesn't have to be the same day as my birthday - I am there for 2 weeks so things that are a little funky throughout the whole 2 weeks

Any ideas greatly received!!!

Have you ever done one of the Fireworks cruises? We did the Illuminations one in June and really enjoyed it. It was a nice relaxing way to spend some time with our family.

Thanks for those replies everyone, never done any of those things really. There will only be the 3 of us and really a two week stay and flight from the uk really does eat into the budget somewhat - I am not sure the fireworks cruise is my kinda thing. I'm not a huge fan of boats so really kinda puts me off

I like the idea of a wild Africa trek that could be fun

Keep em coming - I guess when you like certain things you don't think of the bits and bobs that are righting don't of you!

Can't believe I'm even going to be 30 to be honest still feel about 15! I'm such a big kid!

Happy Birthday! My DS' birthday is the same day as yours. Get a birthday button from the front desk, people will wish you a happy birthday all day long. Go to Whispering Canyon for a meal and let your server knoe it's your birthday, I did this with my DW and the cast members made it a birthday to remember.
