CC hold at resorts?

I am planning on booking my Jan. Vacation soon and in planning, I am wondering if Disney places a hold on your credit card during your stay. We are planning on staying at CBR or POFQ and I want to know how much to plan for above and beyond the package prices listed...thanks for any help.

If you request charging privileges on your room key they will do a pre-authorization on your card. It depends on where you're staying, at Values they pre-authorize $500, at Moderates $1,000 and at Deluxes $1,500. You can request that they pre-authorize less or not request charging at all.
