I'll be staying at the CBR next month. I have a water view room reserved. Which building has the best views? Thanks Joanie:wave:

I would specifically request ARUBA 5256--5261.

We request them for every single Caribbean trip since we randomly ended up there one year. It is the only waterfront area that has jsut that--water front. It's on the second floor and for some reason there are no palm trees ubstructing the view.

Our 5th trip to CB, we requested water view and got a room that faced the water but was deep behind lots of trees and foliage. So we did some research one day for our next trip. And this area in ARUBA overlooks Old Port Royale and the Marina across the lake, and has a view of Parrot Cay and the wooden bridges. It is truly breathtaking.

Also, you know how Disney has for sale paintings done by artists at each Resort that feature a specific view. Well the painting for CB, which we own, is clealry taken form the Aruba section where we are...the unobstructed view across the lake is phenomenal form the seocnd floor and there is nothing blocking the way!

It's a def must. About 5-7 min walk to Old Port Royale. Same distance to bus stop. And a hint--cut through the Aruba pool area to get to the bus stop--its much quicker and not as round about as suggested.

I hope I helped somewhat.:xmas:

Aruba 6 is a nice location too,a s I am sure you remmeber. But they dont have any "true" water view rooms that we find acceptable. Too mcuh tropical foliage in that area. And it's right next to that forest/rain forested area.

Any other Q's, do not hesitate, I LOVE CB!

You know why bother spending any more money for a better view? I loved our spot near the parking lot cause we could get to and from the bus faster. Also when you have your shades open to see your view, everyone that walks past has to stare into your room. I hate that!

I agree, our family gets water views, no questions. And because it is a little extra, we make certain that we do in fact have a water view by me conducting research the vacation before.

And we also prefer the outdoor hallways at the Moderates compared to the indoor hallways at the Deluxes. Never any real problems of people staring inward at us. When privacy is necessary, we close the drapes.
