Aruba or Jamaica, as close to the foot bridge as possible. Pay for the LAKE view.

This puts you near Old Port Royale (just across the footbridge and island) and near a bus stop (Jamaica bus stop is just out back). You're close to quiet pools in either Village.

And Lake Views guarantee you have a lake view, instead of a less expansive garden or courtyard view.

Are these the online check in choices? If so I would do Near Transportation and Trinidad North, Aruba,or Jamacia!

I'd call and directly make my request "Aruba of Jamaica as close to the footbridge as possible." Pay for Lake View.

Disney CBR calls it water view....water includes Barefoot Bay or quiet pool. If you are paying premium, why not secure the "better" view. Barefoot Bay (Lake) > pool view

There's absolutely no way to reserve a "lake" view. At CBR the room category is "water" view and that is exactly what you're reserving and paying for, a view of WATER. That water might be the lake, but it also might be the village's quiet pool ... there's just no way to guarantee it's a lake view. You can always request that, but as we all know,that's just a request.
