the x-mas show at CBJ is open, 2 days early!!

it opened thursday at 10 am, but was scheduled for sat....it will run until jan 4th....

I just got an email in concerning this. It has been said that the CBJ has been down a bit longer than usual for some updates/enhancements.

If anyone knows the show, please let us know what's new...and if all worked well this year!

The Christmas Show is different from the original show - new sets, soundtracks, props, songs...etc. But it should be basically the same as the versions since 1984, of course with updated Animatronics, fresh sets, etc.

I have been told that a mini-rehab took place...so there may be some new features...we'll have to see! :)

Can't wait to see it in 2 weeks as I've never seen the Christmas version....actually, haven't gone to see the regular version in at least 10 years either.

Reports are in!

* Animatronics are in improved shape than last year
* Wheelchair section has been roped off (finally!)
* New fresh paint and fur jobs

There are no serious problems like last year's show. However...

* Melvin has been speaking a second ahead of time. I am not sure if he was out of sync with the AA that "helps" him.
* Some of the bears are crosseyed.

These problems have been reported to maintence...and should be fixed soon!

Any reports would be great!
