Castle!!!

i tried searching for this, but nothing came up, so sorry if its a repeat anyways


i know what theyre doing to the castle in WDW for the 50th, but what exactly for Disneyland? And i was looking at some pictures from November, and i didn't notice anything different, but i remember reading a trip report in August that mentioned the blue tarps covering it for the transformation...so when did they unveil the new castle and whats different about it?

Well, the Castle really isn't finished yet, they just took the tarps down for the busy holiday season. They've only given it a new coat of paint so far. They'll be adding lots of crowns and such to the turrets. As far as other 50th stuff, we have Buzz Lightyear opening in Tomorrowland (Tokyo's version, not Florida's), the new fireworks show (Remember... Dreams Come True) and and the new parade (Walt Disney's Parade of Dreams). We'll also have Space Mountian reopening, but whether or not it's actually open by the 50th remains to be seen.
