Does anyone know if Casting has a website that posts job openings, or do you just call the hotline?

disneycareers.com has job postings, but mostly for upper-level positions and professional internships. Otherwise, call 407-828-1000.

I feel that if you are looking for something hourly there is always a position available in any given department. Only professional jobs have set openings.

I don't know how often they keep it accurate/up-to-date, but they do offer a decent amount of information there. For the most accurate info, I'd say call the jobline.

I'm moving to FL this month and I called the job hotline to ask about a front desk position and they said they did not have anything available in that and they haven't for a long time. so I don't think they always have position in any given department.

I think that in most areas they do. But I know from College Program recruiting that Front Desk is a really competitive position because you are normally the first person a guest encounters. And I'm sure that since its such a competitive role that the people in it stay in it for a while.

I meant in each operational area. Front Desk is a position within Lodging. So while they may not have a front desk spot they might have something else in the lodging department.

It's not really done that way. They only list specific departments that are hiring. Right now there isn't much available in any of the hourly positions, the last time I went to casting they were only hiring attractions, quick serve food and beverage, and character performers.
