I know what sort of crowd to expect at CC when cruising on the Magic. What is it like with the Dream or Fantasy and there are twice as many people.

Castaway Cay Crowds

It can be busy, been there on the Magic and the fantasy just move down the beach further, go to pelican point stop, cookies two, and there will be more space there, the early runners will all go to the first place they see and stop so the bit nearest the ship gets over crowded but the rest of the beach is ok.
Our daughter will be 18 by the time we go, so that will be nice.

At least I hope it's that way. But something tells me I should not expect it.
What time do they start letting you off the ship?
Should we be in line early to get off the ship?

When we went in February, I know the ship was not full. Serenity Bay was not crowded at all!! It was great! The only thing I didn't like about SB was you couldn't see the ship from the beach

It may depend on which ship you are on and what day it is on the itinerary, but standard embark/disembark times for Castaway Cay are 8:30 and 4:30.
I was on the Dream in Jan. of 2012 and CC was not crowded at all. We got off right at 8:30 and were probably the 3rd and 4th people to step foot on the island that day. Serenity Bay is wonderful and noticeably less crowded. Take a bike ride throughout the island - then you'll feel really alone!

Get your kids in some program cause there is plenty of space, as well as, peace and quiet in Serenity Bay....
