Cast Previews / Official Opening Dates for 50th

Just released today. These are the cast previews and official opening dates for the new 50th attractions. Remember, all dates are subject to change without notice.

There ya go! Usually, the guest previews will not happen until after the cast previews. However, they may be moved forward, or moved back.

It's interesting that the Cinderellabration cast previews are listed as April 4-5 when the soft opening for guests is March 17 or 18 (I can't remember which..)

Interesting...in the cast newsletter, I saw that Lights, Motors, Action! and "it's a small world" will premiere on 05/05/05.

It's the 17th, or it may have been moved back. A soft opening doesn't mean all the show elements will be ready or in use. The cast preview will most likely be after hours of the full show before it is premiered. Like I said, these dates can be changed. This is the latest official release that I know of.

I booked my next trip for the week of May 8th and had no idea it would turn out so well timed for all the new events and attractions.

The show will be done when it soft opens to guests, before Cast Previews begin.

They usually hold unofficial soft openings before the cast previews. They did that with M:S and will most likely do that here as well. A limited number of guests will be used to test guest reaction, before they make any official preview or opening including the cast preview.

Are you basing this completely on Mission: SPACE? Because one attraction with a completely freakish opening schedule does not make for "usuaully"... usually, cast previews come first. In fact usually the only thing that comes before cast previews is very limited WDI guest testing. The same can be said for Mission: SPACE - cast previews were the first week of June, before it ever soft opened to day guests.

The information stated is correct. For every ride I can think of there have always been soft openings before the cast previews. This includes phillhar and stitch as well.

Now there are cast who ride before the cast previews, but the date set is for people who work outside of that work locations

No date has been set yet, we are still looking at a date that is early in 2006.

Stitch didn't have soft openings before Cast Previews... And there are very few if any attractions that do.

WDI, inviting a small handful of people in for testing purposes does not a soft opening make. A soft opening means it's open to anyone in the park that happens to pass by and want to ride it.

Soarin' had cast previews today - and I can assure you no guests rode it yet. Lights, Motors, Action has a cast preview next week and no guests will see it before that date either.

Your theory's got as many holes as swiss cheese!

Motors stands a really decent chance of soft opening for guests. The area is physically done - it's just a matter of training and rehersing for the stunt actors.
