Cast Member oppurtunities

Hi, I've been wanting to become a cast member at wdw for some time now. I was wondering what the age requirements are and if there is some kind of summer program. I'm going to be 16 later this year and was looking to work there when i'm 17.

the minimum age for wdw is 16 but some positions require u to be 18 like monorail pilots and attractions i think.most of the time 16 year olds are placed in food and beverage or merchandise.

I mention the WDWCP because that's a great way to get a start on a career (even a non-Disney career)... as opposed to a job with no particular career track.

That isn't to say that people don't start in whatever is available at the time (foods, merchandise, custodial, whatever...) and later move to other roles. That's the hard way... and can be a long road. Been there, done that.
