Carribbean Beach recommendation?

Hey my family and I are staying at the Carribbean Beach this July and I was wondering what village ya'll would recommend that we request to stay in? Thanks!

Are you renting a car or will you be using Disney transportation? Caribbean Beach is the largest Disney resort -- it's spread over a large distance. Personally, I always rent a car and I like to stay in a very quiet area (I normally go with my mom and she's a VERY light sleeper!). If this sounds like you, too, I would recommend Trinidad South. It's at the very back of the complex and few people request it because of that...they don't want to lug the kids too far, I guess. The closer to the front you get, the more crowded and noise you get.

My two favorites were Martinique & Jamaica. We stayed in Barbados once too, and it was a bit farther from the food court, but a bit quieter too.

Aruba is nice, it is right at the back of the resort but just a hop over the island in the middle to get to the food court, have a fab trip!

I stayed in Jamaica and loved it, I like the 5 minute walk from the room too the food court, it's less noisy because your are far enough away from it. I also like the music that's in the background when you walk there.

I rec. Martinique - for convenience - or Aruba/Jamaica - a bit longer walk to the food court but a nice view and is quieter. We always rent a car, so I know any island works well w/ that - you're always very close to the parking lot.

Stay at another resort to much walking,Dixie is so much nicer,sorry Riverside for you non disney freaks.or movies is cool!

we're kinda already booked...we've stayed at all the other moderate resorts and loved them...my fave actually being riverside or as old school disney called it Dixie Landings. I've always wanted to stay at a Deluxe Resort but never had the cash so...I decided Carribbean Beach would be a nice change and we don't mind walking at all cuz we need the exercise haha thanx everyone ya'll have been a huge help

First of all..Welcome to the boards ImaSheDevil!:wave: Always love to have new people come on board.:animwink: I would also recommend Aruba! No matter where you stay you will love it. It is a nice place.

Caribbean Beach is an excellent choice. After at least 10 vacations at CB, I can tell you to request ARUBA. It is directly across the lake from the main eatery, so it is a very quiet island and offers the best views. The walk is also one of the prettiest b/c you walk over 2 footbridges and through a very tropical island with background music. It is the best. If you request water views, request 5257--5260. They are the only rooms that offer a second story non-obstructive view of the lake, so very pretty. We request 5257, corner lake view room, and we have a great time.

We already booked our 12/26--1/4 vacation in ARUBA 5257!! Love it!!

We stayed at Martinique and really enjoyed it. The pool there was never crowded at all and you were a reasonable distance from the noise at the Food Court but not too far away. I would suggest a second floor room though. It seems a little quieter. have a great time and welcome to the boards.
