Carriage rides

Hi all,
Have any of you ever done one of the carriage rides at either port orleans or camp wilderness? Looking into for my next trip but cannot find much info on it.

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground

A relaxing and cozy 25 -minute carriage ride through Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.

$45.00 for 25 minutes (includes tax) Tickets are sold by the carriage drivers Cash and Disney Resort guest room charge only. No credit cards are accepted Small carriage holds 2 adults and 1 small child. Large carriage holds 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 small children. Reservations nightly (weather permitting) Begins at 6:00 pm with the last ride departing at 9:30pm Departs from Crockett’s Tavern at Pioneer Hall. Beverages are permitted

Advance reservations can be made up to 180 days ahead by calling 407-WDW-PLAY. A $45 fee for no-shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will apply. Walk-ups may be available. Carriage Rides may be cancelled due to weather problems.

We did the ride in Fort Wilderness at Christmas. We had a great time. Would love to do it again. The only thing I would add from the post by @DRC68 is to tip your CM (if you think they did a good job).

It was nice but a little pricey. Should probably be about $25 not $45. Like anything else, it's a matter of what your willing to pay for.

Port Orleans. Love hearing the clip clop, clip clop sounds of the horse hoofs echo as they move along the cobble streets of the resort. It's a nice leisurely ride.

We went on the one in Riverside and loved it. It went through the mansion and bayou sections and along the woods. We loved it. Plan on going again on our next trip.

We did a carriage ride at FW and had a great time.

Thanks everyone! I will have to see what the budget is like when we get closer to the trip. The fiance loves fort wilderness so we may just have to do it!
