Carousel of Progress Update?

Okay, I haven't seen anything recently. Now that crowds are beginning to pick up again for the season, I'm curious. For anyone who's been to WDW lately... is Carousel of Progress running? I know it operates "seasonally" but that's not exactly the most helpful bit of knowledge...

I was there 4/27-5/5 and it was closed every day. The printed Park Hours said that it was closed for the season. Hope that helps! I did hear that it opened for a couple of days during Easter, though.

As long as they don't close this ride I don't mind the reduced time it's open. I can understand their economic problem, but it'd be a shame to let this classic go

i seriously doubt it cause they just redid the story not to long ago, and its not that much of a draw, to reupdate it.

i love it though, and hope it stays the same.

Probably because they are.....I'd expect to see it disappear when they get a final plan for the revamped space mtn ready to go.

Yep. It has been 11-5 for years, but when it has been open seasonally, sometimes it has been operating from 9-10. It varies on size of crowds...

It could be relocated fairly cheap, if they made the stage move rather than the audience. It really belongs at EPCOT.

It was closed when I was just there (5/2-5/6). As for moving it to EPCOT that was one of the rumors a cast member told me but I just don't see it happening (but it would be cool).

I'd take it at AK as long as they didn't get rid of it.

Even if they were to get rid of it from WDW, they could just put it on Ebay and it would sell quick smart.
