Just got off the cop and the oven didn't smoke! Has this been broken for a while, or was I luck enough to see an anomaly?

Probably just an anomaly. In my visits there always seems to be a range from a little to a lot of smoke, so there must be an ebb and flow to the system.

It has always worked when I have been on it, has been a while though I hope most of the effects are working in August.. CoP is one of my favourite rides... don't like to see it looking tired.

Same here, personally I don't get the hate for COP. Always been a very good attraction in my opinion. It could do with some TLC but so could a lot of the other rides.

While every now and then I've seen it not smoke (once in a blue moon) it does smoke almost every time I've been. (Which is a significant number of times! :D)

Now, THAT was funny! Thanks for the laugh! (And, I also don't understand any hate for this classic attraction...I am always fascinated by the scenes, and still wait to experience any of the rumored paranormal activity!)

It's not even worth keeping track of what's broken at CoP. You have to walk in to that attraction expecting it to look bad. It's the oldest attraction in the park, but that's no excuse.

Yes! COP is in horrendous shape. Expect MANY broken effects. Another prime example of TDO letting it's hidden gems rot away.

It's sort of similar to Horizons' last days... when the juice that made the orange smell ran out it sometimes took a day or two for someone to care enough to go refill it. I'd bet the "smoke" juice was running low and this poor attraction just is in desperate need of some attention. A personal example: A few trips ago the dad's head had fallen off (tipped forward, the mask basically the only thing holding it on). The entire scene was him talking and the head kind of bobbing here and there from the movement of the jaw against the chest. When we told the CM they said they knew and that people had been reporting it for about the last hour. Now tell me... why would you keep letting people in if you knew that for an hour?

Ya i noticed that last year also. His neck in the fall scene was all over the place moving out of his shirt and stuff. I told the cm and hopefully they fixed it that night. It wasn't a huge issue but hey i know the show by heart i do feel bad for new people that don't see the show it really is
