We have booked to go to Caribbean Beach resort Oct 09, we live in London and have visited this resort for the last 18 years and adore it there as we do Disney!:sohappy: We have heard that they have refurbished the main pool area and have seen only still pics,does anybody know that has been there recenly what it is like now?:ROFLOL:

Besides fresh paint, the only difference is the pool is zero entry (the pool does not have a drop but a slope).

There is a bit more, the main pool is larger with more theming. There is a new pool/play area by the outdoor refreshment stand, and the whole area has been repaved.
The rooms are getting new carpet, furniture, and wall treatments as well as flat screen tvs.
The Trinidad S. location is being re-themed to PotC, the rest of the rooms will have a Caribbean theme with hints of Nemo & Friends.

Yes Banana Cabana is still there. And there is a new water slide through another new Spanish Fort. It seems to have been built where the old waterfall feature used to be at the main pool.
